Marietta Gold Company was surprised to find detectable platinum (Pt) concentrations in 312 of 648 samples that were subjected to XRF analyses

Marietta Gold Company was further surprised when it found that ten out of eighteen samples from one Cedar Strat measured sections had some of the highest Pt concentrations.
The correlation of high Pt concentrations with other elements associated with placer deposits provides compelling evidence of Pt placer deposits in the Great Basin.
Marietta Gold is looking to establish a joint venture relationship with interested entities to develop perhaps some of the largest and richest Pt deposits on earth.
Marietta Gold Company was pleasantly surprised to find that the highest platinum (Pt) concentrations (13.32 to 36.99 ppm) are in samples collected from one of nearly 100 of Cedar Strat Great Basin measured sections.
Marietta Gold also found a striking correlation between other elements typically found in placer deposits and the concentrations of Pt.

Correlation of Pt and Iron (Fe) concentrations in a Cedar Strat measured section suggesting placer magnetite particles were concentrated with the placer Pt particles
Correlation of Pt and Thorium (Th) concentrations in a Cedar Strat measured section suggesting placer Th particles were concentrated with the placer Pt particles

Correlation of Pt and Titanium (Ti) concentrations in a Cedar Strat measured section suggesting placer Ti particles were concentrated with the placer Pt particles
Correlation of Pt and Zirconium (Zr) concentrations in a Cedar Strat measured section suggesting placer Zr particles were concentrated with the placer Pt particles.

Correlation of Pt and Barium (Ba) concentrations in a Cedar Strat measured section suggesting placer Ba particles were concentrated with the placer Pt particles
